Grand
Shelby Cobra "Factory Five" kit.
This reproduction Shelby Cobra belongs to Cpt. Brandon Stockwell,
USMC.
Cpt. Stockwell did all the assembly, mechanical and upholstery
work himself, but decided to turn to Bowden's for the bodywork and paint.
Cruisin' Grand Ave. 29 August, 2011. Escondido,
California.
The Shelby has a 427 cubic-inch Ford motor under
the hood and 5-speed Tremec transmission.
Cpt. Stockwell not only drives a Cobra, he flies one as well.
As his TN plates say, he flies AH-1W "Whiskey" model Cobra Attack
Helicopters for the United States Marines.
Some customers just call to check the progress
on their cars. Cpt. Stockwell decided a fly-over was in order one day. That's
one way to motivate the folks working on your car!
